Specialty Insurance consulting firm is seeking an Entry Level Administrative Assistant to work in a professional, fast-paced, team oriented environment. This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate to get his/her foot in the door to a wonderful company and stable industry. You must be extremely professional in appearance and demeanor since you will be the “voice of the company” and the first point of contact for clients and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct telephone calls to appropriate staff personnel
- Greet visitors to the office with “Ritz Carlton” type of hospitality
- Create and distribute inter-office correspondence
- Receive and distribute mail and incoming packages
- Prepare expense reports using Excel
- Order office supplies and monitor inventory
- Coordinate and schedule meetings for on-site conference rooms
- Assist with catering, lunches and limited event planning
Requirements:
- Self motivated, energetic and very organized
- At least one year of experience in a similar position
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and take initiative
- College degree strongly preferred
